LO2: Navigation plan and proposal

 My client requires me to create a product that allows their users to access their content which is music magazine that will shine a light on the small yet talented artist in this world. The client is a magazine called New Age Rappers magazine otherwise known as NAR Mag.

In order to satisfy this brief, I will create a website that advertises the magazine (new age rapper). I will use it to advertise features and put an email so that people can email to get in touch.  I will create a website because it is A lot easier and simpler to create a site than an app and still as beneficial as an app website also do not have to be download you only need a internet connection to be able to access the site 

The website will have a main page which will show the most recent news with the magazine it will show other artist that are apart of the magazine the menu bar will be on the top of the website.

The pages that will be on the site will be Home, Music, News, Trending, Contact us and Monthly issue. For the trending page there is also four other subpages these pages are for artist and music videos such as the Eternity page, Persona page, 1mawb page and Risu 

The brief is for a music magazine called New Age Rappers.

The target audience for this site will be 16+ rap music fans and the purpose of this magazine site is to inform fans of new rappers who we think will become the next big thing because of their music this site will also inform people of other types of news such as gaming and fashion for example and we will also upload music videos and talk about a Team Eternity production film called Persona 

the budget (copyrights, royalties, hosting) 

For the budget I would have to make sure all the interactive videos on the site are either royalty free or have been paid for I also need to make sure there is no copyright infringement on the site and that will cost  money to make sure. so the way to make sure of this I will either take stock footage from pexels.com or to make my own graphics and videos.

Client needs

Who is the client?

Client needs are to promote NAR magazine and get consumers to get more involved with the magazine itself. the app needs to be accessible and easy to navigate it also has be able to be accessed on mobile device. 

What do they want? the clients want a site that will let them get access to artist and where their users can access all their issues and products all from one site they also want to allow their users to listen to songs from artist while staying on the site and the way to accomplish this is by using embedded content meaning that the music or video is sped to be watched/listened to on the website without taking you to another tab. Users will stay engaged to the content this is because there is a lot of interactivity such as videos sound cloud embeds and this will keep the users engaged and will keep them on our site. The way we complement the clients magazine is by always putting the current issue on the home page and make it the biggest so it is the first thing you when you enter the site, we also have a page called monthly issue which will be update every time there is a new issue release. So NAR's news will mainly be new artist who they think deservers recognition because of the talent and that is the main goal for NAR mag.

The user needs are a way to access the content they want with no pay walls and no complications and this is why a website is the best approach as there is little to no complications to access the website this is because all the complication that occur are dealt by us and the user Donn't have to deal with any of them whereas with an app the users would have to deal with the issues themselves and this would reduce the mount of people viewing the content and that is why using a website is better than an app for this client. Users will also be able to access new and old issues with ease by using the monthly issue page and this will allow them to get any issue posted on the site.

What different types of users? -Existing readers / New readers / Rappers who want to be featured

Existing readers and new readers will be able to use this site with ease as it will be easy to navigate and for rappers who want to be featured they will be able to contact us via the contact us page and if the client thinks they are viable for the site because of their talent they will be contacted back.
